That's right guys, these crazy bright and pigmented shades come from none other than @esteelauder! I have already reviewed their Pure Color Envy lipstick range on my blog as I totally fell in love with their range of colours, texture and how long lasting they were on the lips! Little did I know they would top this with their brand new Pure Color Envy Matte range.
I am astonished by how unique some of these shades are - very 'un-Estee Lauder'! The ones that caught my eye the most were 'Extrovert' (3rd one down) and 'Shameless Violet' (4th one down). Estée Lauder has been appealing to me more and more recently, and from what I can see in the past year or so, they're definitely breaking the whole idea of them being a 'mature lady' brand and heading more towards showing us their fun and edgy side! ✅ 12 unique shades to choose from ✅ Completely matte - it glided on so easily and the best thing is it didn't dry my lips at all which usually is the case with matte lipsticks. ✅ Price point - £25. Affordable! ✅ I didn't feel the need to wear a lip liner with it - perfect on its own

A lot of people are afraid of glitter, but I just cant understand why! Maybe its because most of my clientele tend to be Asian, and if you know anything about Asian weddings, its glitter galore!! Thats one of the reasons why I especially love getting Asian clients ready.. I don't need to hold back and I can be super creative with my work
So I thought its about time I blogged about my recent purchase of Star Crushed Minerals loose glitter. I feel like theres a big craze of glitter recently and I'm seeing so many new brands popping up on my IG with some amazing sparkly glitter shades! I came across SCM and I looooved their choice of colours, and with 50% online orders- I couldn't resist! They were working out $3/4 each which is like £2!! So I took advantage of the offer and bought eight alongside the glue. I've used M.A.C. loose glitter in the past, and as much as love them and they last for years, they just don't have enough choice of colours. I am often asked by clients what is the best way to stick loose glitter onto the eyes.. I have used Kryolan glitter glue in the past which has worked pretty well but I do find it quite thick at times. I would say the best way to apply glitter is to put a very thin layer of glue on the lid first and then use your fingers to dab onto the lid and just keep layering it. I went for a coppery/gold eye make up look in the picture as I really wanted to try the glitter that really caught my eyes - 'Mirage'. Its like a cross between a coppery red and blue.. so unusual! I have absolutely fallen in love with these glitters, and I can't believe how easy it is to use with their fantastic glue. The glue is quite runny which is better when dealing with anything loose as it means it dries on the skin faster. I kept this make up on the whole day and I didn't get any fall out which is a big plus!! Just a couple of negatives: - The pots are so tiny, they wouldn't last as long as the M.A.C. glitters - The lids of the pots aren't very secure and they keep unscrewing on their own- HUGE problem if you pick up your make up bag one day and theres glitter EVERYWHERE. Not sure what to do about this, but I will work it out! Overall, Star Crushed Minerals loose glitter is definitely something I would recommend to make up artists as well as clients.. just have fun with them and add a little sparkle even with your everyday make up! You can find their whole range here: http://www.starcrushedminerals.com/SCMmineral-glitters/ When it comes to mascara, I always like to try a new one every time - high street as well as professional brands! Once I discovered MAC's most best selling mascara 'In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash' this suddenly became THE mascara for me. I love everything about it but the only thing I dont like is it gets dry and crumbly very quickly as well as it being slightly clumpy.
So I'm back on my quest to see what other mascaras are out there, so I thought I should keep it in the family and see what other ones MAC have to offer as they really have a big focus on their whole range at the moment. Today I'm comparing two less popular mascaras of the bunch - 'Extended Play Lash' and 'Zoom Lash'. EXTENDED PLAY LASH CLAIM - 'A lightweight curling, lifting Mascara in a glossy shade of Endless Black. Applies with a slim-line brush designed to give each lash effortless, upward bending definition and extreme volume. Easy wash-off formula. Lasts 16 smudge-free hours.' I didn't know how I felt about the slim-line applicator as my lashes are thick, long and straight. The thing I look for in a mascara the most is how much will they help curl my lashes? This mascara really helped define each lash and lengthened them to give that really nice fluttery effect, however it didn't give me much of a curl as I hoped. I expected a little bit more volume from the roots to give that real nice definition of my eye shape, however instead I felt like my eyes looks too natural and plain even after two extra coats - this might be because I've been using the In Extreme for the past year or so I'm used to more volume! I really liked using it on my bottom lashes as you can see- the slim wand was perfect for that! It didn't smudge either which was great! Would definitely recommend this mascara if you have short, thin lashes as the applicator is perfect to really get close to the lash line, as well as providing length. ZOOM LASH CLAIM- 'Major drama. Lasts all day. Creamy, velvety formula builds density and conditions. Feels light, supple. Ultra-sculpted brush has three-sided fibres to embrace and separate each lash, hugging every curve. Coats in one stroke from root to tip. No smudging. This mascara was quite different from Extended Play, it helped give my eye shape more definition, and I didn't feel so 'naked' without liquid liner. My lashes came across thicker which would really work well with a smokey eye. This mascara however came across clumpy after a few coats, and as you can see the gaps between each lash was really unequal due to the clumping. I didn't get too much length out of it either unfortunately. I had high hopes about this one due to the applicator! It did make my bottom lashes look super thick which I quite liked! Overall conclusion, both mascaras have their pros and cons, however if I had to choose one, I would probably pick Extended Play as I liked how it separated each lash, which is really hard to find in a mascara these days. If only the applicator was a liiiiittle bit bigger so I could really build the volume around my eyes. My mascara quest continues........! I think I've found the answer to shiny healthy hair guys! First a little bit of background of the previous condition of my hair ⏪⏪⏪ I've always had pretty healthy locks and I've been on and off with dying my hair since my teens (always used boxed hair colour 😱😱😱) Anyways, when I decided to use some foam hair dye a few years back, my hair eventually started to feel like STRAW. No matter how much I trimmed it, used all different oils and used treatment masks it just never felt the way it used to. So I packed in using hair dye and started growing it out to my au natural hair colour. However, after a good 18 months without using my hair still looked and felt brittle and dry. I continued trimming, using even more products to smooth and strengthen my hair - but I still couldn't see any improvements. What the hell was going on with my hair?! I was suggested to use Moroccan Oil after my Auntie had so many good things to say about the whole range! I tried out the volumising shampoo and conditioner and the oil in 'light'. I truly felt instant results after one wash. ✅The ends of my hair no longer felt brittle, but instead super soft and smooth! It felt like my old hair again ❤️ 💁 ✅ My comb and my straighteners ran straight through my hair without any force. ✅ Hair doesn't feel heavy, greasy or full of product. ✅ I dyed my hair after a few months of continuing to use the range and it still feels and looks great, and the best thing is people are also noticing it and telling me how great my hair is looking these days. ✅ Although quite pricey, one bottle of shampoo will last you at least a couple of months, and the conditioner lasted me 4 months! ✅ I haven't trimmed my hair for a while but the ends of my hair still looks and feels nice and healthy! ✅ 100000% recommend 👍 More hair and make up reviews go to my main blog page www.reyamore.com/beauty-blog
